Working with students to write up a learning plan that is catered to the individual. The effects of a concussion vary by individual, it can also be very stressful when a student falls behind because they physically cannot perform school related tasks. I feel that the knowledge that there is a plan in place that can be adapted to unforeseen circumstance such as a relapse of symptoms can make the transition back into a school environment easier, and allow the individual to focus their time on resting their brain.

If teachers and students would make an effort to understand what a person suffering from a concussion is going through. If they could somehow eliminate the thoughts in their head telling them that a concussion is no more than a headache.
